Thanks for the tips/inspiration on the edibles! Been wanting to try making the old peanut butter cracker for years and just had a chance to. Tried a couple crackers and it worked great. Then I thought I would put a spin on it.

So what I did was take close to 1/4oz, grind it up with a coffee grinder and mixed it thoroughly with a bunch of organic peanut butter in a french onion soup bowl. I covered the bowl with tin foil and let it sit in the oven at 300 Celsius for a couple hours. I wasn't sure if it would work out as when i peeled back the foil there was pretty much no smell at all and thought I may need to cook it again some time and increase the temp (although most sources online seemed to claim for longer cooking times 300 degrees is best). Anyway it turned out great as is and I managed to fill two old film containers with nice potent peanut butter, perfect for covert dipping! Just a dunk and a slurp of my pinky in the pbutter and wee! An hour later I get nice and toasty.

I so prefer edibles over inhaling, it is nice and relaxed and the slow buildup is great when you need to be covert around others. It is also so trippy! haha

A few weekends back, i loaded up with some pals for a festival on Okanagan Lake in the interior of BC. This was pretty small (about 5000) and held on First Nations land with a ceremonial round house used for the shows with 2 stages for quick switches.

The line-up included The Wailers and i talked with Family Man Barret and Koolant who is in the Bob Marley hot seat. They sounded great and i recorded a song and an interview. More interviews with Oka from Australia (so cool!), Cowboy Bandit (crazy stories about bears and moose), and more plus snippets from Canadian entertainment legend (for kids) Fred Penner.

Anyhow, posted the first in the series with 4 more slated to go out - 1 each day. We'll see if i can keep the momentum rolling!
